Have a laugh

So for this weeks post I thought we should do something funny and give you guys a couple of things to look at when you’re feeling down.

  1. Video chat a friend. We all (hopefully) have that one friend that makes us laugh and luckily mine is constantly on skype so I know I can pretty much talk to her where or whenever I need.
  2. Watch some funny videos. Ask anyone that knows me and they will agree if you can’t find me-I’ll be on youtube. The best thing is that there are so many good videos that are funny and one to suit everyone.
  3. Find/ do a hobby that you enjoy. I’m very much into photography and scrapbooking so anything that relaxes you or that you can do is great.
  4. Look up funny quotes on google images. I love the relatable/teenger posts there will always be one to make you smile.
  5. Read a funny book or watch a funny tv programme/movie.

I know todays post was quite short and sweet but I hope you guys enjoyed.

Thanks

Turning the bad into good

So yesterday was very eventful in my house. It was nothing I’ve ever experienced before. It showed me a lot of lessons and made me very aware about others and their struggles.

Please if you see someone or something in need help it.

So my story today is that we rescued 2 stray/neglected dogs. A bit random I know, but this experience has helped me in more ways than one. Let’s just start from the beginning…

I woke up on Saturday morning and my Dad had said he’d found a poorly dog with no tag on the road so we took it inside and fed it as it looked hungry. My Dad and my sister then had to go to a party so left after about half an hour later. Me and my mum weren’t sure what to do so we posted onto the local Facebook lost and found forum. Loads of people go in touch and and said they were trying to get the dog rehomed and that they were being neglected  and had been lost about 12 times in the last month or so :(. My Mum managed to contact some people who were trying to get the dogs rehomed they said that it may have cancer. (thankfully we later found out she didn’t but unfortunately she does have a slight heart murmur.) We contacted the owner and they didn’t seem to care if we had her or not but she did have a friend so we have taken him on as well. So we offered to have them 🙂

We then went straight to the vets and we found out the little girl has quite a bad skin rash but is having medication for it so it should clear up soon. She is also underweight and very unloved. The vet had no more appointments for the boy but he hasn’t got anything majorly wrong with him he’s just unloved and underweight. But he is going tomorrow along with the girl for extra check-ups and and medicines.

Unfortunately we can’t look after them but luckily my grandparents are amazing with dogs and have great care and experience with them so they are taking them on. Don’t worry it won’t be the end of me seeing them I’ll pretty much see them all the time :).

We found out later that the previous owner was just using them to breed. He cared slightly for the boy but pretty much left the girl to almost slowly die :(. They only got about one scoopful of morrisons mixer dog food a day- if that. They are little westies the owner said they were about eight but we don’t really trust him. They had a small bed to share and that was it. The living conditions of the house was shocking I haven’t been round there but my Mum had to pick up the little boy and she didn’t know how a person could live in there let alone a dog.

Since they have been at our house we have fed them chicken and rice (the vet said to) they have had plenty of food and water a lot of love and care .The boy has had a bath but we have to wait for the vet to do an extra check up and find the right medicated shampoo for the girl before we can give her a bath. They have been out for walks and has had a lot of roaming space. They look so much better now than they did this morning and I’m sure there progress will improve rapidly.

Tomorrow they will go to their final home where they will be loved, care for and spoiled rotten ;). They couldn’t go to nicer and loving people my grandparents love dogs to pieces. They haven’t rushed this they have been looking out for two for ages and these have come around at just the right time. I will see them very regularly (probably every day). I will let you guys know how they are doing if you would like.

This has taught me things I never thought I’d know. Please if you see a dog on the street please call the number on the tag if they have one, give them some food and water and make sure the home is a good home if you think it’s really unsuitable please call a local animal shelter because if you don’t make that one small phone call at least one beautiful animal could die. We caught these 2 just in time or I don’t really want to think what would have happened if we hadn’t.

Please help others.

Today we turned 2 poor neglected dogs into 2 loved and cared for healthy dogs.

I’d just like to say that this was quite a scary thing to do but I have enjoyed It and I hope all the dogs and cats will one day find suitable homes and all people will as well.

Help someone else

So my slogan if you want to call it that is,” help stop the world worrying”. Basically I want to help other people understand, cope with and beat anxiety so that we can all be happier.

I bet you reading this now has had at least one person help you out with your anxiety. Let’s give something back that actually will help you in return. Next time you see someone standing alone, say hello. Next time you see someone crying, ask what’s wrong. If you know someone with anxiety help them out.

The feeling of you doing good for others will help you feel more happy. You may even want to help out a charity or another good cause.

Why don’t you try helping out the person that’s helped you?

All of this stuff is mood boosters and even distractions for your anxiety.

I hope this has helped. Why not even try telling them about this website (lol). Don’t forget to rate, follow and check out the rest of the site .

Read this when your alone with anxiety

First off happy new year guys! I hope this year will be better to you than last especially for anxiety. 🙂

I found this online (I have forgotten where) and thought maybe you could use this when your alone and you feel anxious. Also it may be a good thing to say to someone you know if they’re very anxious. I have done it in a document so you can print it out if you need to but I have also written it down here incase you have any trouble opening the document. Note: I did adjust some words slightly to make it better.

Breathe. You’re going to be okay. Breathe, and remember that you’ve been in this place before. You’ve been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared and you’ve lived. Breathe, and know you can survive this. These feelings can’t break you. They’re painful and deliberating, but you can sit with them and eventually they will pass. Maybe not immediately, but some time soon, they are going to fade and when they do you’ll look back on this moment and laugh for having doubted your resilience.I know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing again and again. This will pass. I promise it will pass. xx

AS A WORD DOCUMENT

I hope you guys enjoyed todays post and you could relate to it. Maybe it has helped just now or you need to save it to help next time. Thanks so much for reading I truly love you guys xx

Four tips for morning anxiety

I found this on the internet and thought some of you guys could use this as it is something I get quite bad worrying about the day ahead. Credit to healthyplace.com

  1. Attitude adjustment: when I accept my body is just doing its thing and that the uncomfortable feelings will eventually pass, the fear looses its power over me. The night before I tell myself I don’t need to get upset if I wake up with anxiety.
  2. Positive affirmations. Post them everywhere on walls , windows so when I wake up I see it straight  away.
  3. Eat something soon after waking up. It helps with low blood sugar levels. Eating soon after waking up is good for mental health.
  4. Distractions. Play on a game your phone or on a computer. I’ll make good distracting games post soon so follow to sees when I upload that. If you focus on something it will take your mind off your worries.

I hope you guys enjoyed is there are any suggestions for posts please leave them as a comment and I will try my best and do post on your suggestion.

Thanks

Inspiration

I don’t know about you but I’m all for inspirational quotes and music as you may have guessed so I thought as a very visual friendly post I would find some quotes and then you can feel a bit more inspired to keep going. This is tough and sometimes you may want to  quit but keep going you can do it.

The Summer Holidays. Part 2

So I want to say that this is the last part as the last for weeks of the holidays were pretty much the same with only a few small changes. Also, I’m concerned that this series is a bit boring so I’m going to speed it up a bit.

Week Three and four

I was downstairs most of the time but spending at least two or three hours upstairs everyday and also texting my parents quite a lot when they left for work in the mornings. I’m not going to lie it was still really hard and I didn’t like it but I knew I had to do it.

Week Five and Six

These were the best two weeks I was downstairs baking with them and on week six even eating with them a little bit. My feelings were a lot less panicky and were more relaxed and i found that the end of the day came around in no time. The only thing I was mainly worrying about was going back to school at the end. I may also do a blog post about going back to school.

I’m sorry todays post wasn’t that good I didn’t really want to write todays post about this but I promised you guys and I don’t also want to start something and not finish it. So I hope you guys enjoyed the post please rate, comment, follow and check out the rest of the posts and I will see you guys next week.

The Festival

In the first week of the summer holiday i and to take an absolutely massive step that I wasn’t looking forward to I’m not going to lie it wasn’t too good but it was a learning experience and if i hadn’t of done that I may not have been as strong as I am today.

Day One

This day was mainly spent travelling and we also met up with our cousins and set up the tent.We had dinner and everything was alright because the festival hadn’t really begun.

Day two and three

Day two was alright but it kid of went downhill from there. On Day three I just wanted to go home but I knew I had at least until day Five until I could go home

Day Four

I wanted nothing else but to go home on that day we were not sure wether we were going to stay until the end of day five. We were going to call my councillor but it was a Sunday so we knew she wasn’t going to be in.

Day Five

We came to the decision that we were going to leave at lunch time today which I was glad about and my cousins stayed until the end.

All in all it wasn’t very nice but I am stronger than I was before. I think if I do it again next year I will be worried and nervous but I would probably handle it a bit better and keep improving each time. I was also never a great fan of festivals because of the beat and all the people, so I wouldn’t say I was that bad because even if I had’t got anxieties I wouldn’t be super exited. The days when it was good I did enjoy myself but the lows were really quite low :(.

I hope you like this style and hope to be doing more of personal experiences with a huge Disney special coming up with great detail and will probably take me five or so posts, anyway I hope you liked it see you next time.

It can be achievable

Firstly sorry it’s a day late. But I want to talk about yesterday and how I kind of shocked myself.

Yesterday I had to face my fears and go to a christening and an 80th family birthday party. It wasn’t easy that’s for sure but I did it and I’m gonna tell u how I did it this may not work for everyone but hopefully it will give you some ideas.

The christening

That was my main worry I mainly used distraction as that works best for me. I took it slow and mainly ended up watching YouTube and the shaytards most of the time. Towards the begging in grand the end it was hard but then slowly got easier over time.

The party

I kind of felt so good after the christening I forgot my worries don’t get me wrong I was still nervous but not as much. I had a couple of wobbles but then I distracted myself and it was all ok.

Thanks for reading hope this helped these achievements will be up on the achievements page and feel free for you to comment yours as well it not just for me-lol.
