It doesn’t happen overnight

Now I don’t want to make you feel any worse but I think that you may have an illusion that it may just go overnight believe me it doesn’t but if you keep trying it will get easier until eventually it will go.

Also I want to mention you have to keep trying to find methods to help you I’ll do more about that room and that you just have too keep going. Now I know some days you just want to give up and go down the easy route but believe me the easy route may seem easy but it gets much tougher later on than just pushing through.

Hope this helped

Take it slow

You don’t always have to rush into things quickly. Take it slowly.

So you want to take it slow but don’t know how to do it well here is an example. Your scared if you eat that food your going to have an allergic reaction well put a bit on the back of your hand and see if you haven’t have a reaction then you can eat it. Next one, your scared if you go on an fast ride you’ll be sick go on a slow one and build up to it.

Hope this helped sorry it was a bit late I was out conquering a big fear so please like share comment and follow and check out the google plus page for more things

Improving self esteem

Sometimes low self esteem can be the cause of anxiety and also it’s always good to feel good about yourself.

To make yourself feel better you need to start by writing down what your good at. Don’t be modest be honest.

Next think about what nice things people have said or may have thought about you.

Finally, describe yourself in at least fifteen POSITIVE words!

Hope this helped remember to share and check out the google plus page wintheworrywars and wintheworrywars on the app I told you about last week Sam on the social cloud.

REMEMBER DONT EXAGGERATE THE GOOD IN OTHERS OR CRITICISE YOURSELF 🙂

Headspace

This wednesday I thought I’d give you an app to play around with as far as I’m aware you can download it on apple devices, google and amazon. It is a meditation app with ten 10 minute sessions. They also have a website and a special bit for anxiety
And a  YouTube channel

I hope this is useful, I’m doing it every night before I go to sleep and I find I sleep better after listening to it.

celebrate!

However big or small your successes make sure you reward yourself for them whether you ask someone to paint your nails for you or go to the next local football match. A good way to keep track of your successes is make a reward chart

The good thing about a chart is that when you’re having a bad day you can think- well look at all those good things I’ve done.

Hope this helped

Something to make you think

On a sheet write down the following things:
What makes you worried
What symptoms you get and where to feel them
Techniques you have already used to help you calm down

With a friend or in your head try to connect the dots eg. I get worried about my throat closing up I notice this when it feels tight I play with blue tac to help me calm down.

Realising these connections can help you feel a lot more relaxed

I hope this helped please subscribe and like and share.

Asking for help…

If you feel like the anxiety has got a bit much it might be worth asking for extra help. Obviously tell someone when you first notice the anxiety coming or if you are unsure about wether you have anxiety or not. As you may already know telling someone feels better than keeping it all to yourself.

There are many different organisations and charities that help all sorts of types of anxieties and through the sessions and before you may feel a bit worried but I promise after the sessions you will feel so much better.

So you may be thinking how do I get help. Well the way I went about it was first went to the doctors-that was really hard seeing as I am scared to go there. We talked and they referred me to a charity they only did six sessions which were good but then I felt I needed more. So now I’m signed up to an organisation that has unlimited amount of sessions. Also, the people at school think I needed some more sessions in the middle if finishing the charity and coming on to the organisation. So a lady comes in and we do it as a group of about eight of us. We have lots of sheets and most of them are up on this blog if you wanna check them out.

Thanks for reading remember to share this and help stop the world worrying.
