Tidy room = a tidy mind?

So last weekend I went to IKEA and bought a couple of things for my room. I am notorious for having a messy room. I don’t like having it messy I just find it annoying to tidy it. Well as I am writing this it is tidy and I would like to keep it that way because honestly I do think it helps clear my mind and doesn’t weigh me down.

I do hope that now I will be able to keep it this tidy from now on and I will continue to keep it looking as nice as it does but who knows?

So I’m sorry for the short post, it was just to sort of let you know an update I guess. Anyway, please like, comment, follow and share as it really helps me out and I will see you tomorrow-hopefully.

ALWAYS look on the bright side of life?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrdEMERq8MA Now if you just watched this link then it will sort of set the tone of todays post.

Most people will say to look on the bright side sometimes that’s not alway that helpful so we can look at it in a different way.

What I mean is: I have a test tomorrow and I don’t think I’m going to pass.

The way we change that up is…… I have test tomorrow this could have been worse if I hadn’t revised, if I had that really horrible teacher , if i didn’t know the teacher, if I didn’t know anybody in the room, if i had to go to the dentist instead.

What I’m trying to get at is there are always bad situations but there are always worse so next time you’re dreading something think of all the worst possible situations you could be in I bet there will always be at least one worst thing you can think of.

Please like, comment, become a Worry Warrior and do all the lovely things you do and I will hopefully see you tomorrow.

A million doll hairs

So happy friday everyone!! It’s the end of the (working) week whoop whoop! Anyway, let’s get on with todays post.

A million doll hairs? Yes the title is ‘ A million doll hairs’ But why? Well, in hard times it is really important to keep a 🙂 on your face somehow. A million doll hairs comes from a joke me and my friend have where we made a spelling mistake and thought it was so funny we say it all the time now. So the point of today was to try and get  you to think to have a bit more fun. If you know someone that is having a hard time put a smile on their face. I promise you it will really help them – even if they don’t show it they will appreciate it, I promise.

So I have managed to make it to today! Hopefully I will speak to you tomorrow and in the comments below try and guess what a million doll hairs actually means. Remember to share this with all your friends, follow so you won’t miss if I upload tomorrow and like to share some love

Zone out

So the second day and I’m still uploading. YEEEEEEYY.

Down to business, I want to talk about ‘zoning out’ I often do this for a little bit in the evenings a couple of times a week. Some days I find it easy but other days I find it quite hard.

Different people do it in different ways. My favourite way is listening to music and at the same time writing a post or doing a hobby or going on a walk.

I find this really relaxes me especially if I listen to Shawn Mendes or something similar. (Don’t judge my taste in music – hahahaha)

You could maybe try yoga or swimming to ‘zone out’ as well

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for today don’t forget to do all those lovely things below ( liking, following and sharing) and (hopefully) I will see you tomorrow,

The start

Today is the start of ‘Mental heath awareness week’. For those of you that didn’t see last weeks post you can see it here. Last week I said that this week I will try and upload a post everyday in honour of mental health week. They do have a topic this year which is mindfulness but I think I’m going to freestyle it as this is the first time where I have blogged every day for a week. Quick note they might not have as much writing as they normally do but if you have been here from this time last year I used to upload on a Wednesday so the posts will sort of be like that. Anyway after a long ramble lets….. DO THIS THANG !!!!

I want to talk about looking forward.

When we look forward we always do it negatively. Don’t believe me…

How many times have you thought:

  • I’m going to win the lottery
  • I’m going to be able to cope with going to another country
  • The flight I’m going on will be perfectly fine
  • I’m going to get an A* in my exams

Chances are you haven’t but if you have then these things probably aren’t what you’re worried about. But I bet you that when you look forward you do it negatively and you probably think…

  • I’m going to fail that exam
  • That plane is going to crash
  • When I get to that country everything is going to go wrong and I will want to come home and It will all be a disaster.

The thing is the reality of what happened was probably like the first list (except of it was the lottery, because thats just luck really isn’t it) and OK you may have worried at the start a bit but that’s fine. I bet what ever it was or is that you are going to do or have done will end up or did end up like something from the first list and not the second list.

It is really hard to tell our brains that it won’t happen and I do know this but if we try every time and change our mids a little bit every time eventually it will become second nature and you will be flying through your worries. After all it’s the thinking thats the bad part not the actual doing.

Let’s see if I can keep this up ,
